You know those moments when you happen upon a designer’s work and it just stops you in your tracks because it’s so. freaking. good? Well that’s exactly what happened when I saw Rebecca Atwood’s pillows for the first time. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Rebecca’s textile work blends tradition techniques with hand painting to create divine pillows. You can see the influence of the ocean – derived from her time growing up in Cape Cod – in the new Williamson collection, which features Rebecca’s signature shibori fabrics, as well as hand painted stripes, and white pigment prints on washed linens. Gorgeous! Call Mr. Bazaar a cab because he would like to buy all of these beauties! As much as I love my blue hues, I’m really digging the vibrant and energising orange colourway from the new Williamson collection. Which colourway is catching your eye? P.S. Check out Rebecca’s fantastic blog, too.

I really love the indigo and the golden zipper that lends a little more masculinity and glamour to the otherwise soft and romantic fabric.

@Rochelle – That’s a good point, that little detail makes a big difference to the design. Thanks for stopping by!

This collection is gorgeous. Hard to choose but I think I’d pick the orange!

@Susan – There’s such a high level of detail to her pieces, it really impresses me.

Lovely pieces! I’d opt for peach & grey coloured cushions! They give a warm sunny feeling! Those blue shiboris are also very nice, very good for a masculine interior. :)
