Hi, guys! I’m popping in from Spain to say a quick ‘hello’; I’m here with my photographer, Andrew Boyd, as we’re shooting for the Bright.Bazaar book. I’ve found Spain to be a great source of inspiration for many years because it’s packed full of interesting designers, architects and interiors, so I’m really pleased to be able to include stylish Spanish homes as part of the mix in my first book. Beyond the interiors, I also find the country’s natural environment to be more than forthcoming when it comes to colour inspiration – I mean, just check out that hot pink front door, it’s perfect Bright.Bazaar style! Of course, it helps that the sun’s rays spotlight areas of interest, naturally saturating each hue with their inherent warmth. Yet colour seems to sit so comfortably in Spain, whether it’s the weathered burnt orange hues of a traditionally rendered building or the looks-so-good-you-could-eat-it purple colour of the ever-present bougainvillea flowers, colour can be found in abundance there. As I head off to work, I’ll leave you with some colourful sights from this inspiring country. Have you ever been to Spain? Which countries inspire you when it comes to colour?

  1. These pictures are absolutely stunning!

(I might have once mentioned that Spain is one of my favourite countries). Totally agree, it is such an inspiring place,

The Mediterranean region is so vibrant and full of zest!

  2. Have a fantastic time Will in Spain to bring us the bright bold colors! Sharp outfit Mr!

and the first country that inspires me when it comes to color is Japan with their bright red Torii! love the vibrant and intense color offset against the calm blue water as backdrop.

  3. Those colours are just too delicious! I absolutely adore the colours in Spain. Why oh why doesn’t Britain take note? I love your oceanaria ensamble too. Those shorts are too cute! Enjoy your holibobs!

  4. WOW what wonderful colors! That pink front door is so good, and I just love the little windows above it. I think your shorts are just perfect there too!

  5. Hi Will.

Great pics. Do you know La Vila Joiosa? Check it on internet, I think you’ll like. The old town is like a rainbow.

    Un saludo,

  6. So jealous of all your traveling posts! Wish I could live in Europe and hop countries. Good luck with your book! I’m sure it will be bright & fabulous! Love Spain by the way – spent a couple weeks there my junior year of high school with the most lovely Spanish family. The women there are Gorgeous with a captal G.
