Last Thursday’s party at west elm in London to celebrate the UK launch of my first Bright.Bazaar book was simply the best! I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by family and friends from so many different parts of my life. In honesty, it was immensely overwhelming at times (as those who were there and heard my speech probably realised!). I think it was only as I stood inside the store seeing my book everywhere that it sunk in: ‘Oh my goodness, I’ve actually published a book – wow!’.

The whole evening is still a complete blur so it’s really nice to be able to look back through the #makeyousmilestyle hashtag on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to see all the lovely pictures from the night. I was happily ensconced behind my little desk signing books until after the party was meant to officially finish, so it’s really fun to see the pictures from other corners of the party. I’m so grateful to all 335+ people who so kindly came along to celebrate the book; I was excited to be told upon landing in LA on Friday that the book was already a bestseller and at number one in the Styles and Decor category on Amazon – I never even dreamed of such a positive reception to the book, so thank you so much to all those who have bought a copy. Also, big thanks go out to Jess and the west elm team for so generously throwing such an enjoyable party – there will be more highlights from the party on Front and Main soon, too. Many of you were kind enough to give me cards and congratulations gifts, and I can’t wait to thank you all personally when I’m back in the UK in June. Until then, please do follow along my adventures on the US book tour on the #makeyousmilestyle and #mrbazaartravels hashtags on Instagram!

  1. It’s a huge achievement Will and bestseller in that category already is just awesome. I’m halfway through the book and just wanted to say that it’s wonderful and you should be proud. Reading your introduction and learning of your personal story was incredibly touching too. Have a great time on the road! M xx

  2. It looks like it was a brilliant night. If I hadn’t been moving house, I would have loved to come along. So many fun photos from the evening on Instagram! Congratulations on the launch.

  3. I did make it by, but you were plugging away signing books and I didn’t get to say hi. Huge congrats, sir xx

  4. So so happy for you, it was just a year ago I had my own book launch, it was such a special occasion, though I was exhausted afterwards, so please do take care of yourself! I really love my book and have dipped in to it several times already and look forward to exploring it more.
    Much love,
    Annabel xXx
