Hi, friends! I’m so excited to be back blogging after my week long break. As we flew over the green fields of England last night before landing in London I felt so excited to be back home. I love to travel but there’s nothing like coming home after time away exploring a new place. I’ve always thought that it’s a good sign when you look forward to coming home as much as you did the adventure that you left for in the first place. Those following my travels on Instagram will know that I was lucky enough to spend the last week exploring the Greek island of Santorini. As you can see from the above snap, I was pretty excited to be seeing this island in the flesh after years of lusting over countless pictures of it on Pinterest! I took my new camera along (more on that soon!) and it was great to have time to get familiar with the settings and try out the new functionalities. As a result, I have a silly amount of pictures to sift through, edit and compile into blog posts so you can expect a whole bunch of colourful travel posts in the next few weeks over here on Bright.Bazaar. In the meantime, I need to shake down, unpack, catch up on emails and generally get back into the swing of everyday life. Lots of exciting things to come, including London Design Festival and BlogTourLA! I’ll be back here on Friday with a super fun edition of Bright.Bakes with a fun weekend bake idea. Hope you are all well – I’m looking forward to catching up with your blogs now that I’m back! Hugs to you all.

I do think it speaks lot if you are looking forward to coming home and back to work. I usually have a great deal of anxiety coming back home from vacation due to my reluctancy to gear back to work. Good that you love your work and you are so good at it!

I need to break free real soon!

Now unwind, relaxed, unpacked … and bake more on Friday!
