1. Talking a walk down newly discovered streets as the sunshines down – how beautiful do these buildings look? I love the windows!
2. You just know the owner of this house has good style when they have a racing green coloured front door.
3. I made a new friend outside my apartment.
4. On Saturday be and my boo made Bourbon biscuits…
5. … before switching to savoury to bake thyme and chilli bloomer on Sunday. Maybe I should post our recipe as part of my Bright.Bakes series?
6. Totally crushed on these simple tie-dye decorating ideas over on vtwonen. (Styling Cleo Scheulderman; Photography by Jeroen van der Spek.)
7. Isn’t the use of type in this Type Rules print spot on?
8. This is a pretty awesome Thank You card.
9. Mr. Bazaar totally needs this Vintage Silverette Typewriter in his life! It reminds me of the one I borrowed for the video I made about the Bright.Bazaar book.
10. Rumour has it that Mark and Graham are set to release their first set of customisable, monogrammed bedding tomorrow. I’ll be first in line for a set of these typographic beauties.

OMG, I can’t honestly say what I love the most about these ten cute things… The cushions, the typewriter (Fabulousss!), the print, your baked goodies, your shorts or your new friend, the cat? ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also spotted the same great and gorgeous looking styled photoshoot in my VTWonen last week when I picked it up in the store… I love that magazine! The colours immediately transported me to some faraway place – like Santorini…
I would love to read more of your Bright Bakes, I’d love to know how to make me some yummy for my tummy too. ๐Ÿ˜‰
A very big hug, Inge x

Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog! You have a cheery and happy blog here yourself. I love your posts. My favorite item in this particular post is the print “type rules.” Love it…”never be regular.” Take care,

    Shauna

PS. I love Anya, she has become a kindred friend of mine. She’s wonderful. ๐Ÿ™‚

Love the door and your thyme and chilli bloomer looks delicious. Now I’m just curious, where does the word bloomer come from; is that something particularly British? I don’t remember having heard it before.

    • Reply Will @ Bright.Bazaar August 6, 2013 at 2:26 pm

@Lisa – Ooooh, not sure – will have to look up and find out the history of it!

    Will,
Looks like summer in the UK is treating you well. I remember going on those lovely London walks in the late afternoon, staring up at terrace houses and imagining who lived in there. I used to love catching a glimpse through the windows… was extra special at Christmas time when you could see the twinkling of Christmas tree lights.
The green door does truly rock!
