Not only are we on the brink of welcoming a new weekend but we’re also about to be treated to 143 pages of inspiration courtesy of Sweet Paul magazine’s Fall issue as it launches later today. One feature that hit the top of my inspiration Richter scale is this dip dye story. Beautifully styled by Paul himself, the piece guides the reader through a range of different dip dye craft projects for both home and fashion. One of my favourite ideas was to dip dye ribbon as you could make big batches of it in one go and then keep coming back to use it for months ahead, perhaps to wrap a gift, update a vase or decorate votives for a dinner party. Talking of dinner parties, don’t you think that the dip dye table runner holds such a beautiful simplicity? Which of these projects inspires you the most? P.S. Don’t forget to look out for my market pages, a travel story on the Soho district of New York City and a rustic warehouse decorating feature – I’d love to hear your thoughts!

  1. I love the ribbon idea too! you can practically do it in whatever color you want (or can't find readily available) for the perfect gift wrapping! That vase looks so good with the ribbon!!

    Happy Friday MR!

  2. one day I'd love to have some dip dyed curtains preferably in a soft blue hue with ombre effect…well I'd need the adequate windows for it, too:-) Great feature!

  3. Love dip dye – been seeing it everywhere! I love the ribbon, bedding and tablecloth. Maybe I'll give it a try sometime this fall. Looking forward to seeing your features in the magazine. So exciting! Have an amazing weekend 🙂 xoxo – Julie

  4. So beautiful!!! I can't wait to get the magazine tonight and see your feature!
I might also have to make myself some dip dye ribbon this weekend 🙂

  5. I love the dip dye bedding and am very tempted to run out and find some affordable white sheets and a bottle of dye this weekend!

  6. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post
was great. I do not know who you are but definitely you are going
to a famous blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!

  7. I love a bit of dip dye, but can't help thinking that the bed sheets look as if a terrible crime has been committed!

  8. I really like the bedding, and the table runner! Simple, but yet with that little “extra”. I love the craft feeling too it, still modern look.
