OK, friends, it’s time to empty your piggy banks, fumble down the side of the sofa and scrape together your pennies for a trip to the sweetie shop. On the menu? The Candy Crush, a colour cocktail that you can order to suit your personal taste. In the mood for a sugary sweet delight? Keep your pinks bright and bold; your yellows sunny and vibrant, with a high gloss finish. If, however, you’d enjoy a more formal cocktail, you can tone down both hues for a more regal finish: opt for a lavender, dusty pink and pair it with golden shades of yellow. So, with pennies handed over, all that’s left to do is share which cocktail you ordered!

  1. Eep! That's one of our cushions in at number four! Thanks so much for featuring it!

I love those dipped spice cellars (#6) and that gorgeous yellow pendant. I've always been a bit reticent to head for that sort of real carnation pink, but it looks bright and warm, rather than sugary sweet, so maybe I will give it a go!

  2. P.S, thanks for reminding me about Spoonflower, haven't checked them out for a while, but they look like they have come a long way since the early days, and the site is much improved.

  3. so much fun!! and don't you just love how yellow works with every other colors? pairing with grey, it looks chic, modern, and sophisticated. Now it enlivens us from regency homes! A vote from me for “yellow fever” to continue!

  4. oh what a lovely post full of sunshine (it's been gloomy all week in my part of the world). I'm a big fan of bold colours but I'm stupidly affraid to show them in my house. I'll make this a new resolution: “bring colour into your home girl”!

  5. Mr. Bright, you are the most creative and happiest stylist in blog land! Hands down.

I am taking my cocktail in that dye dipped cup. Will also work great for my pencils. I am pencil neat freak…

    Hugs to you.

  6. I do love a happy pink and yellow combination, and I really did think that Nancy Riesco did it up right for the home office, in Style At Home. It was a pleasure to work on that shoot! As for your picks, at the top, I need that yellow pendant light now! Great post, Will.

  7. This moodboard is so delicious! And I so love Nancy Riesco nook with that pink/white wall!
