Cheers! Friday has arrived and it’s time to order the cocktail of the moment. Like Russell and Katy this is well and truly a case of opposites attract. But this colour love affair isn’t destined for doom. No siree! This is a marriage is set to last; the sassy, sleek and sexy black hues are counter balanced the by the bold, brash and bright tangerine notes. How do these two hues go the distance? They mix in a little lemon every now and then to keep the zest alive! Order The Tangerine Dream for your Scandi kitchen/dinner next time you decorate and you’re scheme will last to the finish line and beyond. Happy Friday, folks!

  1. I love it!
    Those orange chairs are perfect.
I really love a pop of orange on most things.
That owl cookie jar is pretty great too.
    As always, love your picks.

  3. I've never really liked orange, but in this combination with black and white, it was actually cool! 🙂

  4. Oh it is so fresh! I am not a morning person so this is a kitchen for me: the black and white contrast with orange infusion would wake me up finally and cheer up for the day!

  5. This makes me feel better about our bright orange arm chair we have. We're always looking for the right fabric to cover it with, but haven't found anything we like so it just stays orange. Perhaps we should just leave it as is! 😉

  6. My favourite thing is the only non-orange item on there….the photographer's tripod lamp. I've been longing for one of those for ages. I've yet to find one as gorgeous as this in the UK. Sitting in that wingback chair reading a fab book by the light from that lamp, perfect!

  11. That's probably what I need today – a sip of juicy tangerine colour! 😉 Love the owl!!
Orange&black reminds me somehow of Halloween, but feels energetic! 🙂
I also love orange paired with yellow or turqouise, but orange-violet is my favourite!
