So the lovely folks at Livingetc pulled out a corker of an issue, guys! It’s funny because when I first read the issue (yep – I’m the loser who reads each issue at least twice!) I didn’t feel as inspired as I normally do. Maybe it was the chap next to me on the Tube with his oversized, greasy hot dog stinking the place out. Thinking about it, that whole situ kinda killed my moment of the month with Livingetc (I’ve been having my Livingetc moments since I was twelve, which is weird looking back on it!). Anyhow, I digress because a few days later I was in bed reading the issue for a second time, when it occurred to me the sheets were covered in torn pages. And, well, here they are: My favourite tear sheets from July issue. Some pretty colourful and lovely summer decorating ideas, don’t you think? My top pick is the living room with the sofa made out of old palettes, finished with block colour bunting. Which is yours?

  2. I love how laid-back each photo seems — I wish we would get some warm weather already, it has yet to feel like summer and it's June!!

  3. LOVE that palette sofa, but i am kind of obsessed with those super long, bright curtains in the last image.

    totally my style.

  4. I'm crazy about pallet sofas so the one showcasing it is my favorite 🙂 Also like the Florence cream wire chair & the colorful curtains from the last photo. Have something like that @ our place & it really brings sun in & refreshes the living room <3 Xoxo

  5. I absolutely love the rug in that room with the bunting. I also love the picnic glasses turned upside down as a makeshift cake or fruit stand. 🙂

  6. Ooh looks like a goodie! Love the colourful living room with the bunting and that outdoor setting with the pink glassware and fabulous white chairs! Better keep an eye out for this issue 🙂

  7. Hi Will,

You remind me so much of Eddie and his love affair with MSL since he was 12! Love you both!
    My fave is Frond Embrace.
I recently picked up some great green and gold lacquered palm front plates, so this totally speaks to me.
Any plans to come to the Bay this summer? You're such a big shot now 🙂
    Would love to have you…

  8. the green sofa is stunning! love the color and looks comfy, too. would definitely love that in my living room. love all of this color! xo

  9. I love the zinc topped table above. And I also love the article on displaying art as I'm doing a bit of re-decorating in the living room.

  10. Actually the front cover shows a great trunk/suitcase as a coffee table, I spotted one just like it at a charity shop just last week and now I'm kicking myself for not getting it!!

  11. I'm with you on that living room, village fete meets morocco! the picture on the shelf is a bit rude though!
