Lately my love for mid century modern furniture has stepped up a notch and I’ve been trying to find out what triggered my higher than normal levels of Mid Cent Lust. Eventually I came back to this delightful living space. Since I pinned it to my Pinterest account a few weeks ago I’ve had it on the mind: the mustard yellow sofa, art wall, mid century pieces and lashings of natural light have me weak at the knees every time. What do you like about this space?

  2. Love that look too even though it's not really 'me'. The light bright, colour and the laid back feel is what gets me. Jxx

  3. Sucha great room! I too lust over the mid century stuff…there really is nothing I don't love about this space, it feels bright, happy and stylish.

  4. Beautiful colors. Love the yellow sofa, of course. I think I want a yellow couch next. Wait, maybe green. Whatever's on Craigslist first, I guess!

  5. ahh..one of my fave spaces i've seen online! i love the bright colors (especially the color of the sofa) and the clean lines throughout the room. the light is absolutely gorgeous in these images which i am a sucker for! weak in the knees–i know what you mean!!
    j.

  6. I actually like this VERY much! I once had a nearly similar sofa which I gave away, and last weekend I run into a same kind in a thrift store but which seated only two persons. For a moment I seriously thought about bringing it back. I really love that color and the feel of the fabric 🙂

And that sidetable is corgeous! And the flooring. And the art wall, the window with mimimalistic curtains, the floor… Gee. 😀 I could move in right away 🙂

  7. Love the yellow sofa and the lighting! I really like how the room is somewhat neutral, but they added pops of color everywhere.

  8. OOh yes I'm liking this a lot too, especially the pendant lights and starburst clock. The beam feels kind of unexpected with the mid-century style too – love it.

  9. This room is utterly gorgeous, I think it's the bright airy feel combined with the shots of colour and a very real lived in look.

Appletree where is the sofa from?

  10. funny how we come back to things, added this picture to my blog a whiel ago, for me its thewhite walls with the pops of colour and feeling of space and airiness.

Love your styling on your blog by the way. 🙂

  11. I just found your blog recently so here is me saying 'hi!'
I think I have this room saved somewhere, it looks familiar. I love everything about it!

  12. It's that darling little side table and the individual details (the letters, frames, etc.) that elevate the room from a catalouge to livable! Love it!
