{Colour Inspiration: Green}

Green is one of those colours that can either go so right (1) or be a total decorating disaster. I’d recommend using it as a surprise pop of colour, perhaps as an accent in one dining chair out of four, or try introducing different shades more subtly through a variety of plants (2). Out of these lovely images, I’d choose the green lantern shades from the first image – cheap and cheerful, but what a fantastic statement feature they make.

    The one colour I'd never think to decorate with. In fact, I don't even wear green very often.

    I love the green door against the black wall and the green party in the first image! I have about 30 of those Chiavari ballroom chairs that I picked up at a salvage yard. I'd love to paint 6 of them green like these ones!! Great post, very inspirational
