Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonBack in 2016 I published a post about ‘Six of The Best Hamptons Home Decor Stores‘ and one of those stores was the Serena and Lily Beach Market in East Hampton. Ahead of this year’s spring/summer season, the Serena and Lily Beach Market has been redesigned, reformatted and redecorated. Their team kindly invited me to experience the new store and photograph the store to share with you. So, let’s get to it because there’s lots to see!Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonThe new Serena and Lily Beach Market store format allows for bigger room sets and more easily accessible product. I love how the store feels so ‘shopable’ – as well as inspiring full room designs, the space also encourages you to pick up, feel and experience the products. In classic Serena and Lily fashion, there’s plenty of beachy textures and colors to go around.Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonThe wallpaper folio and sliding headboard wall were two of my favorite new features in the store. Being able to see the wallpapers at scale helps you visualize their individual patterns better than a small sample square; similarly with the headboard wall, being able to see the scale of the headboard options beside one another helps with design decision making.Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonI loved this serene bath moment. Many of the paintings throughout the store are by one of the Serena and Lily co-founders, Serena Dugan.Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonBamboo, cane, grasscloth, wicker, linen, jute and more – there’s beautiful texture to be found at every turn inside the store. The roomsets really do invite you to sit and experience them, so I did just that…!Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonHandthrown ceramics and tableware, and gorgeous table linens are available to buy and takeaway the same day. I have my eye on those striped cups – so cute and perfect for our beach house kitchen!Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonSpeaking of things I have my eye on, say hello to the Lagoon table lamp!Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonThis bedroom moment was my favorite room set inside the store.Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonHow cool is this rug wall?! Such a smart way to see multiple rug options in one go.Serena and Lily Beach Market East HamptonAnother smart addition I loved was this wall of fabric samples. Whether you’re looking to redecorate a house out east this season, or if you just love to wonder a beautiful design store and leave with something small like a pillow or a throw, I highly recommend stopping by the Serena and Lily Beach Market for an inspiring shopping experience. You never know, you might see me there in my blue and white element, too! 😉Serena and Lily Beach Market East Hampton// Photography by Will Taylor
