palm canyon mobile clubThe first time I visited the desert I arrived with low expectations. Why? Well, I always thought of myself as a beach-y kinda guy. And while that’s true (hello, beach house!) I actually ended up falling in love with the desert on my first trip to Palm Springs six years ago. So much so that my heartmate and I have often spoken about a dream of buying a property out there. I say dream because the prices were often too prohibitive for us to seriously consider buying a desert home in Palm Springs. That was until I discovered the Palm Canyon Mobile Club, who I’m partnering with for today’s blog post and IGTV episode. I’m touring you through two of their homes, a one bed and a two bed, both under $200,000, so let’s get to it!palm canyon mobile clubONE BEDROOM HOME
This one bedroom home at Palm Canyon Mobile Club is on the market for $169,000 and features a wrap-around deck on two sides, a carport, spacious living-dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and bedroom.palm canyon mobile clubThe open plan galley kitchen leads down the center of the property, from the living room through to the bedroom.palm canyon mobile clubThe bedroom is flooded with natural light, has two sizable closets and a built-in dresser, plus clerestory windows with incredible views over the mountains around Palm Springs. I love how it’s move in ready!palm canyon mobile clubColorful furniture and accessories are the perfect foil to the calm and neutral foundations of this one bedroom home.palm canyon mobile clubThe wraparound deck provides plenty of breakout areas, from a lounge area, dining area and sun-lounger and hanging chair chill out area, meaning you can make the most of the beautiful desert weather no matter your mood or occasion.palm canyon mobile clubTWO BEDROOM HOME
The two bedroom house at Palm Canyon Mobile Club is on the market for $200,000 and offers considerably more space for the $31K price increase from the one bed, with a wider more open-plan living area, two beds and two bathrooms. It’s worth noting that you can also customize most of the one and the two bed properties at the Palm Canyon Mobile Club to have a wrap around porch/deck area if you wish. This property just has the front deck but it still has space for an outdoor seating area.palm canyon mobile clubStepping inside the two bedroom property you enter to a large open-plan kitchen, dining, living area. Personally, I love this layout because it’s super sociable and perfect for entertaining.palm canyon mobile clubThe end-to-end exposures mean natural light floods through the whole property.palm canyon mobile clubThe second bedroom can easily be repurposed as a playroom or home office, while the master bedroom feels very private and has it’s own en suite bathroom. palm canyon mobile clubCLUBHOUSE AND POOL
Both properties also have access to the on-side Clubhouse, dog runs and beautiful pool area for $650pm. Pretty awesome that you can buy a property in the desert for under $200K and still have amazing amenities on site too, right?! Which home at the Palm Canyon Mobile Club do you like best, the one or two bed?

  1. Palm Springs is top of my to-visit list! Living there must be a dream!

  2. Amazing prices…wow…could be a good rental opportunity actually…

  3. Great job on the new episode Will. My fiancé and I are thinking of buying out that way later this year so this was well timed for us. The one bedroom would be great and it’s inside our budget, so more dollars for the wedding! 😉 We always enjoy your content.

  4. Seriously tempted by the two bed place, I love the layout of it. The pool looks amazing too! Going to PS in May so I’ll check this out. Thank you!

  5. Love them both, but the second one has an amazing layout and such a good vibe. With so much light coming from every single corner, beautiful wall art and a great colour scheme throughout the whole property… It’s hard to imagine a moody day living in a home-like that. 🙂
