Trunk ClubAs a guy who loves both style and design it was such a pleasure to discover a fashion shopping experience that combines my love for both. That experience? Trunk Club. Essentially, Trunk Club is a personal styling and trunk service for women and men that takes place with a stylist either remotely or in-person at one of their clubhouses, like the gorgeous Trunk Club Mansion in Manhattan. Trunk Club kindly gave me the opportunity to try out their service and I am excited to share the beautiful interiors of the mansion, and the outfits I choose with my stylist, right here on the blog today. Trunk ClubHere’s the thing. When it comes to fashion I have a fairly clear idea on what I like and what I don’t like, but I sometimes still struggle to pick the right pieces. That’s why it was so great to utilize one of Trunk Club’s stylists as they helped me refine my wardrobe and overall style. The benefit of this was that I now know how to incorporate pieces that can transition from look to look, in turn making my closet go-tos that much more versatile. I love this colorful blue and green outfit that my stylist and I picked out together. The denim is by Paige (super comfortable!) and the green long-sleeve top is by Billy Reid.Trunk ClubHere’s another stunning room inside the Trunk Club Mansion in Manhattan. It’s kinda cool how you can pick the room that you want to have your style consultation in! I loved the mid-century vibes of this space.Trunk ClubHaving a dedicated stylist on hand to chat through outfits and options made the whole experience of shopping that much more fun (the free beers, incredible design and great music helped a lot, too!). Another thing I loved about shopping this way was how much time it saved me. Instead of having to schlep all over town to try on pieces from stores like Paige, A.P.C., Theory and many more, I could do it all in one place. Before I tried out their shopping experience, I kinda thought Trunk Club was a subscription service, so I was pleased to learn that I was mistaken: there are no subscription fees and shipping is always free if you decide to use the online service.Trunk ClubFor my second look we kept things timeless and classic with sand washed Paige denim in a looser slim fit and paired them with a navy tee from A.P.C. I love these white sneaks from Clae, which are genuinely one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever worn!Trunk ClubThere are seven clubhouses, located in Chicago, New York, LA, Dallas, DC, Charleston, and Boston. The brand also offer their trunk service throughout the continental US, so if you can’t make it to a Clubhouse, your stylist can send a trunk of handpicked clothing straight to your door. It’s pretty cool how it works. You receive an itemized preview email first then once you sign off on your stylist’s selections, your trunk will be shipped and you’ll then have five days to try everything on. A $25 home try-on fee will be credited toward whatever you choose to keep, and you can return the rest with our free shipping service. As a total design geek, I loved being able to visit the Trunk Club Mansion in Manhattan but this service would be a great way to try out Trunk Club if you aren’t in any of the cities where they have a Clubhouse. Give it a try, it was a fun way to shop for sure!Trunk Club // Photography by Will Taylor | Posted in partnership with Trunk Club; all views my own.

  1. The green shirt was a neat find. The Billy Reid label is new to me.

  2. Glad you are wearing Billy Reid, I’ve been a fan for several years. His dress and collared sport shirts are the best fitting I’ve found, coming in slim and regular cuts in each size.

  3. I adore very refined Clubhouse as much as you do. I really do!
I will be happy to meet it sometimes.
