10-things-i-learned-and-loved-1Happy Monday, guys! How was your weekend? The end of summer was crazy busy for me with a ton of travel and out of office work, so this was my first weekend back at home base in NYC for a while. The weather was super grey and kinda chilly, so it took me back to the standard weather of my London days. It’s only been about four days of grey weather and I’m literally craving the much more usual blue sky days we have here in the city. I’m not sure how I coped with the continual grey back in the U.K. for all those years?! Even so, it was a nice reminder of home and made the city feel extra cosy. The perfect first fall weekend, I guess! If you followed along on my Instagram Story you would have seen peeks at some of my adventures, including a fun trip to Barneys. Here are ten highlights from my weekend. Don’t forget to let me know what you loved this weekend, too! OK, here goes with this weekend’s 10 Things list…

1. The preview of Ralph Lauren Home’s S/S17 collection was absolutely out of this world. Could this beachy bedroom be anymore inviting? LOVE!

I love the Rainbow Wall in Dumbo, Brooklyn so much.10-things-i-learned-and-loved-33. The Issey Miyake Star Pleats Bag at the MoMa Design Store caught my eye the moment I walked in the door. Love the graphic shape and color.10-things-i-learned-and-loved-44. What time is it? Wear my favorite Skagen watch time! I feel naked if I’m not wearing a watch, don’t you?10-things-i-learned-and-loved-55. After Equinox class on Sunday my heart mate and I treated one another to Sprinkles cupcakes. Yes, they are as delicious (and bad for you!) as they look!10-things-i-learned-and-loved-66. Lunch at Cafe Clover is the perfect cozy place to hide from the rain. The spot on food and divine interior design don’t hurt, either.10-things-i-learned-and-loved-77. Topped up my Le Labo Santal fragrance on Sunday; I loved how the packaging co-ordinated with the greys of outfit.10-things-i-learned-and-loved-88. I read on Saturday that the leaves are due to start turning in NYC by next week. I can’t wait for all the beautiful autumn colors in Central Park.10-things-i-learned-and-loved-99. So, I think I need to decorate with Scalamandre’s Zebra wallpaper ASAP!10-things-1010. Took a moment on Saturday to recreate Hillary’s iconic debate shimmy!

  1. Have you tried the ice cream at Sprinkles? I think it’s even better than the cupcakes! So good. Also really looking forward to the leaves changing (and the sun coming out again). I remember last year they didn’t seem to change fully until November, but hopefully they’ll start soon!

    • @Jackie – Yes, I had the ice cream once over the summer and loved it! Apparently all the damp weather and cold temps is helping to make them change earlier, but I’m with you: bring back the blue skies! 🙂

  2. No. 2 is quite funny. Made my morning. You always look terrific.

  3. Ralph is always getting it right…I can see why you like the bedroom

So much to love here Will! Adore your picture of the fall colors in the park, the radiance of your smile in No.2, that stylish watch and cafe. I could go on! Lovely post. Susanna x
