Moet-1As I wrote about in this Instagram, I’ve don’t think I’ve ever worked as hard as I have since I moved to America. Living in Manhattan is incredible but it’s all too easy to get caught up in the rat race and the hamster wheel of everyday work life. You have to work just as hard to make sure you make time to relax and be with friends. So, one evening I decided to spontaneously #OpenTheNow by making an everyday Thursday evening, a memorable and #MakeYouSmileStyle one by gathering a couple of friends for a sunset sail around Manhattan. Click through to see all the fun and incredible city views!

Moet-3The great thing about friendship is that you never know where it will take you. Here I am with my friend Jo who I have known for ten years since we met while at university back in the UK. When we first met amongst all the craziness of college parties and events you never think that all that time later you’ll end up both living in the same city in another country. Here’s the amazing thing about friendship: it takes you to places you never imagined. Jo is one of most radiant and positive people I’ve been fortunate enough to meet. She’s my ‘yes’ friend: always willing and excited to give any adventure and experience a try. Super savvy and smart, she’s forged an incredible career for herself here in America and I’m so pleased we’re now living in the same city again and able to see each other more regularly.Moet-4That’s why I love Moët’s philosophy of ‘living for the now’ – it marries so well with the qualities I admire in Jo and inspires me to love the possibilities of life even more. As we sailed past the incredible skyline of downtown Manhattan we kept turning to each other and saying, “I can’t believe we live here!”, before toasting to our adventures together! We celebrated our #MoetMoment with my heart mate and also our new friend, Jake. That’s the great thing about living in a new city: the opportunity to meet inspiring new friends who I would otherwise not have the chance to meet. Being able to spend time with friends both old and new while sailing around Manhattan at sunset was such a memorable experience.Moet-6Having mini bottles of Moët – complete with adorable and 100% #MakeYouSmileStyle pink flamingo labels on the Rosé bottles – was the perfect party accompaniment to our yacht adventure!
