When Christy Towels asked me if I would like to road test their new Barcode towels I jumped at the chance (Mr. Bazaar is a total hotel-style towel lover so I didn’t need asking twice!). As a self confessed stripe and colour addict the graphic and vibrant design of the Barcode range caught my eye straight away. I love how the array of blue hues in the towel make it easy to seamlessly introduce to a variety of existing bathroom schemes, and they have a luxurious hotel-like softness, too. However, instead of the standard road test at home in the bathroom I thought it would be fun to say cheerio to summer by ‘beach testing’ them last weekend in during my colour hunting adventures in Portugal. Yet it wasn’t until I hit the beach in Portugal last Friday that the beautiful blue hues really came to life – isn’t it amazing how perfectly they match the natural colours of the sun, sand, sea and sky? I was on a total colour high! What do you think of Harlequin’s new Barcode towels? Do you use towels to invite colour and pattern into your bathroom?

I have stripes on everything: clothes, pillows, walls…but for some reason, the towels with the tress are really speaking to me! And I don’t usually go for objects printed on towels (I prefer geometric patterns). Maybe I’m turning over a new leaf. (ha).

Those towels look comfy and I love the colors. I Love the photo of the bright towels hanging against the chippy gray interior too. I based our entire little master bathroom colors all around one little hand towel I had found shopping one day while the bath was in demolition. Thanks for leaving summer around and not giving up on it too soon Will 🙂
