Following my first style post a few weeks ago, I’m delighted to share my second outfit in the series. I chose to blog this outfit because it feels like a solid late summer go-to. Whereas the first outfit was for all out (read: boiling/stuffy/sweaty/sticky) summer days, this is get up is perfect for later summer days when the sun still shines, but there’s not quite the same strength in its rays. Truth be told, I never wore white denim until last year. Having always worn dark denim it just felt so foreign to be wearing something so, well, light and bright on my lower half. That said, I’m so pleased that I did give it a test drive because white denim is now a staple of my summer wardrobe. I love how the classic simplicity means you can opt for something graphic for the top half of the outfit. The navy striped polo provides a striking contrast to the white denim, don’t you think? Plus, given it’s nod to riviera style I naturally had to embrace a little italian design with my D&G watch! What do you think of my summer stripes look, folks?
