Mr. Bazaar’s Birthday: Twenty Six Thank You’s

Today is my birthday and I’m turning 26. When I look back at the adventures I’ve been lucky enough to experience over the years I feel quite emotional. I was 22 years old and fresh out of university when I started Bright.Bazaar from my bedroom a little over four years ago. In that time my blog has taken me to places I never dreamed of being able to visit and presented me with both opportunities and challenges, all of which have helped me as I try to carve my path in life. While blogging is a huge part of my life, it wouldn’t be even half the experience it is without the wonderful friendships it has gifted to me along the way. So, as a way of celebrating my twenty sixth birthday, I wanted to say thank you to twenty six blogging friends who have touched me with their support and help in recent months:

Jeanette – Your recent photography workshop was so useful and I was so grateful how you really went above and beyond to help answer my questions. Your creative eye and talent never fails to inspire me.
Andrew – You’re always there with the right words on a hard day; thank you for always knowing what to say.
Arianna – A mid-week Skype chat with my Italian bella always puts a spring in my step!
Yvonne – Your warm and creative spirit made working with you on Meet The Blogger London such a breeze. I can’t wait to lark about in London again soon!
Lindsey – Thank you for being a supportive spirit and for all your help in Paris a few months ago; your writing is a joy to read.
Anya – Although we’ve only met once, I was touched at your kindness to help me with my somewhat restricted foreign language skills!
Mariska – We started on our adventures at roughly the same time – thank you for always being a colourful inspiration and all your help in the last few months.
Carl – Thanks for doing such a great job on the video for my book announcement.
Victoria – Your willingness to help and exchange advice has been a real help to me in my blogging adventures – I hope we can meet in real life soon (along with Lucy, too!).
Hannah – Thank you for encouraging me with all my endeavours with your unfaltering enthusiasm and positive outlook.
Igor – We’ve had so many fun times together thanks to blogging and I feel grateful that blogging led us to this friendship – bubbles!
Jon – Thanks for being a top friend and being so gracious with your time to help me out, not just in recent weeks, but over the past few years.
Rachie – I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as genuine and down to earth as you; thank you for being the best girlfriend a colour-loving chap could ask for!
Justina – I still remember the old days when we both started out with our blogs all those years ago; I’m so grateful that we are still in touch and helping one another out.
Mowie – Thanks for all your photography advice and for being a super fun guy to hang out with.
Perri – Your encouraging words gave me the push I needed to dive into my book project – you rock!
Kate – Your warm and friendly manner makes spending time with you a real pleasure; thank you for all your company at many a trade show and blogger night out!
Tim – You are such a sharing and supportive soul, Tim, thanks for bringing a smile to my face with your fun messages.
Amanda – Working with you over the past few months has been so much fun and I feel lucky to be able to collaborate with you on such inspiring projects.
Veronica – The vision, hard-work and generosity you invest in working tirelessly to connect bloggers with brands and visa versa has led to some of my most cherished blogging friendships, so thank you for all that you do with Blog Tour.
Paul – Thank you for believing in my work and being such an easy and funny editor to work with.
Manvi – Your work for Bright.Bazaar never fails to leave me inspired and your eye for design is spot on.
Raina – Thank you for being so generous in helping me with book questions in the past few weeks and for being my ‘go to’ neon gal!
Carole – I will never forget our walk through Central Park; your wise words prove helpful more often than I can count.
Ben – You put a huge smile on my face by nominating me for a Dulux Colour Award – thanks, pal!

And, lastly, but by no means least, I wish to thank you, yes, YOU! Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by Bright.Bazaar and share in my colourful adventures. You bring the heart, soul and joy to this space and I wish I could thank all of you individually.
