One of my biggest inspirations comes from photography; browsing the work of talented photographers fills me with awe at their ability to capture so much movement, energy, spirit, colour and emotion through one click of their camera’s shutter. One such photographer is my online friend, Janis Nicolay. Janis has always been a supportive spirit from afar and I really hope we can meet in person one day. For now, I’d like to celebrate her beautiful photography here on Bright.Bazaar because, well, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s pretty darn lovely! I especially like her shots from Salton Sea which is located about an hour south of Palm Springs. In fact, I’ve earmarked her Ski Inn print for my bedroom. Anything catching your eye, friends? Hi Will, I’m guessing this is my first time EVER I leave a comment here on your blog. Although I come here all the time, I don’t know why I never do comment. Because I love coming here.
And when I saw these pictures, it struck me: these are so full of colour and light – just like I love pictures to be. I wish I could capture some objects like Janis… Especially the last picture is just wonderful. The ray of sunlight over that old car is amazing!
