Mid Century Modern Living Room

Lately my love for mid century modern furniture has stepped up a notch and I’ve been trying to find out what triggered my higher than normal levels of Mid Cent Lust. Eventually I came back to this delightful living space. Since I pinned it to my Pinterest account a few weeks ago I’ve had it on the mind: the mustard yellow sofa, art wall, mid century pieces and lashings of natural light have me weak at the knees every time. What do you like about this space?

Love that look too even though it's not really 'me'. The light bright, colour and the laid back feel is what gets me. Jxx

Beautiful colors. Love the yellow sofa, of course. I think I want a yellow couch next. Wait, maybe green. Whatever's on Craigslist first, I guess!

I actually like this VERY much! I once had a nearly similar sofa which I gave away, and last weekend I run into a same kind in a thrift store but which seated only two persons. For a moment I seriously thought about bringing it back. I really love that color and the feel of the fabric :)

And that sidetable is corgeous! And the flooring. And the art wall, the window with mimimalistic curtains, the floor… Gee. :D I could move in right away :)

I think I love the high ceilings with the exposed beams the most, together with that great simple mid-century chair.

Love the yellow sofa and the lighting! I really like how the room is somewhat neutral, but they added pops of color everywhere.

OOh yes I'm liking this a lot too, especially the pendant lights and starburst clock. The beam feels kind of unexpected with the mid-century style too – love it.

It's that darling little side table and the individual details (the letters, frames, etc.) that elevate the room from a catalouge to livable! Love it!
