Home Tour: Emily Henderson

Emily Henderson wasn’t content with winning a TV show, presenting her own TV programme or launching a spanking new blog. Nope. She had to have a down right fabulous home, too. And boy am I glad she does because it’s a testament to her understated and relaxed decorating style. Flea market finds and small, delicate vignettes create an effortlessly stylish space, which showcases her talent as a prop stylist. Her use of midnight blue hues add depth and visual interest to the scheme that flows throughout the whole apartment. Meanwhile, vintage artworks are hang proudly on the walls, each new drawing or painting adding a quirk to her eclectic home. Oh, and I should mention, she’s utterly charming in person as well.

I didn't watch Design Star this season but the min I saw that first photo, I knew she was a girl to watch out for. Red cross – brilliant!

Love Emily and her home is beautiful… especially that bedroom. I'm thinking I need to copy (I mean be inspired by) that headboard.

Hello Will!
Sorry my comments aren't as frequent at the moment.. I am still in Sweden (another two weeks.. yay!) and am not spending all that much time in front of the computer. Soaking up the fun of being 'home' and catching up with friends and family. Loving it here!!

This post was gorgeous. What a home! What a girl really! Will follow your links and read more about here when time allows. For now just know how much I enjoyed the house tour. I especially love the final images of her dining / work room. Perfection!

Hugs from Sweden!

What a beautiful space. I never use blue anywhere in terms of home decor but this makes me want too.

Some great features in this apt! I am really looking forward to 'secrets of a stylist' in most part because of Emily's love of flea markets. Flea Market Finds add such a nice lived in 'home' feel to a space. The punches of blue scattered here and there add a nice theme to the room/s. I <3 it.

love it too, I remember seeing somewhere the un styled version and it was as gorgeous as this one!!

The two of you need to team up!
